Here at Rankpire, we want to create a positive and fun environment where our users are able to thrive to the fullest of their potential in a safe place. In order for this to happen, we must all come together as a community and agree to what is and what is not allowed regarding use of our platform and services.
Even though some of these guidelines may seem like common sense of right and wrong, we still require them to be enforced. We want it to be instilled in our community that Rankpire is a safe, appropriate, and user friendly place for everyone.
Our Community Guidelines
- Rankpire does not allow a person to participate in, organize, or encourage harassment of others. Disagreements occur and are normal ways of life, however, repetitive, continuous or severe negative comments are not permissible. Harassment is not tolerated.
- Rankpire does not tolerate hate speech. People are not to organize, promote, or coordinate servers around hate speech. It is not permissible to attack a person, or a community based on attributes such as their gender, race, creed, national origin, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, disabilities, or religious affiliation.
- Rankpire does not allow phishing or hacking of any kind. We do not condone the sending of malware. Do not send users malware or viruses
- Rankpire does not condone the making of violent threats and/or threats to harm others. Indirect threats, as well as sharing or threatening to share someone’s private personal information is not allowed.
- Rankpire does not tolerate the evading of server bans and user blocks. Sending repeated, unwanted friend requests or messages may be flagged as harassment or spam. Do not attempt to hide or conceal your identity in efforts to contact someone who has blocked you; Do not encourage others to do so on your behalf.
Rankpire Content Rules
- Rankpire requires that channels must be labeled with “NFSW” if there is adult content in that channel. All Distributed media among users (such as posts, pictures, videos, misc., etc.) cannot contain adult content unless that content is behind an age-gated channel. Examples to show this in practice could include but are not limited to: server banners, special invites, and avatars.
- Rankpire does not allow the sharing of sexually explicit content of other people without their consent. The promoting and sharing of non-consensual intimate images and imagery is not allowed. Revenge porn is not permissible.
- Rankpire does not permit in the sexualization of minors in any way, shape, or fashion. Doing so in any manner may result in Rankpire notifying law enforcement regarding illegal content and activity. This includes but is not limited to: sharing links or content that depict minors in a sexually suggestive, sexually violent, and/or in a sexually abusive way. Digitally altered pornography along with illustrations of the mentions above will not be tolerated.
- Rankpire does not allow sadistic content, sadistic gore, or extreme non-videogame related gore on the platform
- Rankpire does not allow the selling of or sharing of hacks, bugs, cheats or any other content that could possibly affect platform users or players (multiplayer games) in a negative way. Rankpire does not allow the providing of access, distribution, or promotion of content and media involving hacking, cracking, and distribution of stolen accounts and illegal or pirated software.
- Rankpire does not condone self-harm, the idea of self-harm, suicide related content, or the idea of suicide. Users are not permitted to share content that promotes and glorifies self-harm or suicide. Users may not encourage others to partake in purposeful eating disorders and/or encourage people to harm themselves.
- Rankpire does not allow content consisting of or encouraging animal cruelty.
- Rankpire does not permit promoting, supporting, congregating, conversating, or the organizing of violent extremism.
- Rankpire does not permit the operating of or affiliating with a server that is selling and/or facilitating sales of prohibited goods. Obvious potentially dangerous goods such as but not limited to: drugs, hallucinogens, various controlled substances, ammunition, and firearms are not permitted on Rankpire servers.
- Overall, Rankpire users should not encourage, engage with, or promote any illegal behavior. There is a good chance that Rankpire will ban you from its servers and we will not miss you.
Rankpire Messaging & Email
- Contacting Rankpire users for any non-Rankpire related content such as: promotional, political, or commercial reasons is not permissible. Prohibited activities include solicitations and/or the advertising of business entities, personal services, cold-calling, mass-mailings, broadcast emails and fundraising.
- In general, don’t be a menace to society. If you are on the Rankpire platform, we kind of just expect you to be cool.
Consequences
- Rankpire will act to the best of our abilities when individuals violate our guidelines. This may entail content or even whole accounts be taken away or deleted. On the other hand, sometimes it may result in a warning. Just like in life, matters usually differ case by case. - By logging onto the Rankpire community and activating your profile, you are considered to be in agreement with the terms and conditions listed above.
